Bailen Association of Southern California

ABOUT

Mission Statment

Many of you may already be aware that the "spirit" of BASC is dying...attendance has been low the past several years for the fiesta and even the dinner dances have been cancelled. Our relatives have been shouldering the burden for most of the financial expenses in order to keep these events going and to keep BASC alive.

History

For those of you that are not familiar with BASC, it is an organization that our parents and relatives have worked extremely hard during the years to pay homage to our town back home in the Philippines.

Many of you know of the successful projectst that BASC has been involved with such as Scholarship Programs to help send students to college, the beautification of our town by rebuilding its' church and the computer donations provided by the profit collected from BASC events.

I'm imploring you to start getting involved. Without sounding to hokey, let's not take everything our parents worked so hard for in vain.
